  • Advisory work and litigation in different law firms (Abidjan, Conakry and Paris)
  • 9 years of experience in banking and finance in the West African Monetary Union (WAMU) in Dakar, Ouagadougou and Abidjan; worked as a senior manager at the Central Bank of West African States (BCEAO) and as a Principal Specialist in the office of Legal Affairs at the WAMU Banking Commission
  • Acted in matters involving:

– banking regulations, microfinance and e-currency institutions of the WAMU, the Central African Economic and Monetary Community (CEMAC) and the Republic of Guinea

– legal assistance to investors, particularly foreign investors in Africa (choice of the appropriate corporate structure, company incorporation, identification of favorable provisions in national investment codes, bilateral investment treaties and double taxation treaties)

– mining law (forming project companies, property rights and establishment of guarantees, mining taxation)

– acquisition transactions, acting on behalf of the buyer or seller (due diligence, representations and warranties, drafting the disclosure letter and related follow-up, etc.)

– legal support to companies (holding corporate meetings, personnel management, etc.)

– credit, consumer and labor law in France

– debt recovery in France and in Africa

– litigation proceedings before various courts
